Mechthild Neises has a longstanding career in Psychosomatic Obstetrics and Gynaecology. She has been active both in science and in the professional German organisations in Psychosomatic Obstetrics and Gynaecology and especially in psycho-oncology.

She currently holds practice in Aachen, Germany. She is the author of many publications, both in the field of obstetrics and gynaecology and especially in psychotherapy and psychosomatics.
