Dr. Vesna Gall is a senior specialist in gynecology and obstetrics at the University Hospital “Sestre milosrdnice” in Zagreb, Croatia. She holds a PhD in medical sciences, focusing on the role of serotonin-related genetic polymorphisms in stress during pregnancy. She is the founder and president of the Croatian Society for Psychosomatics in Gynecology and Obstetrics.
With extensive clinical, academic, and scientific experience, Dr. Gall has published numerous peer-reviewed articles and book chapters, and she is a co-author of the book Psychosomatic Medicine in Gynecology and Obstetrics. She has participated in and lectured at national and international congresses and symposia, focusing on fetal programming, maternal mental health, and psychosomatic aspects of women’s health.
She serves as an external lecturer at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Zagreb, and actively collaborates on scientific research projects related to women’s reproductive health and perinatal care.
