Ruben Plöger is a gynaecologist from Minden, Germany. His special research interests are perinatology. Currently, he is conducting studies regarding ultrasound examinations and breast feeding of twins.  One focus is the psychosomatic interference of twin feeding. 
His motivation to serve as treasurer is to support international exchange about psychosomatic issues and to improve maternal and infantil health.
