Danny Horesh is a licensed clinical psychologist. He is a Full Professor, Head of the Clinical Psychology Program and Head of the Trauma and Stress Research Lab at Bar-Ilan University’s Department of Psychology (Israel). He also holds an adjunct faculty position at New York University’s Grossman School of Medicine, Department of Psychiatry (USA). His research focuses on factors associated with vulnerability and resilience to traumatic stress and PTSD. He has also been studying the psychopathological implications of stillbirth and pregnancy loss, as well as postpartum PTSD and psychological distress among parents to preterm babies. During the past several years, Prof. Horesh has been the president of the Israeli Society of Psychosomatic Obstetrics and Gynecology (ISRAPOG).
